Draw GIS features on an interactive map directly in your browser. Import, edit and export Points, Lines and Polygons in GeoJSON, Shapefile, WKT and KML formats.

Draw on an Interactive Map

Select a drawing tool, click on the map to place vertices, and create Points, Lines and Polygons. Edit existing features by dragging vertices.

How to Use the Online Map Drawing Tool

  1. Open the Online Map Drawing Tool.
  2. Select a draw mode: Point, LineString or Polygon from the toolbar.
  3. Click on the map to place vertices and build your feature.
  4. Double-click to finish drawing a line or polygon.
  5. Export your features as GeoJSON, Shapefile, WKT or KML using the Export button.

What formats can I export my drawings to?

GeoJSON, Shapefile (.zip), KML, WKT and CSV.

Can I import existing spatial data to edit it?

Yes — import GeoJSON, Shapefile, KML, WKT or CSV. Imported features appear on the map and can be selected, moved and edited vertex-by-vertex.

Can I edit the vertices of an existing polygon?

Yes — click a feature to select it, then drag individual vertices to reshape it, or right-click a vertex to delete it.

Is there a limit on the number of features?

No limit is enforced in the browser. Performance depends on your device and the complexity of the drawn geometries.

Does it support drawing in 3D?

The drawing tool works in 2D. For 3D visualization, use the 3D Map View toggle in the toolbar after drawing your features.
